I think that's a good idea. I know you just got him and he hasn't been checked by your vet yet. If I recall, he's only eight weeks old. That's really too young to be away from his mother anyway.
I know you also said he's been exposed to other dogs already. He could have picked up something.
Did the shaking start after his flea bath? I'd be so afraid he is having a reaction to that. He just a baby and so delicate.
Are you able to take his temperature? Normal rectal temperature is 100.5 to 102.5 degrees Fahrenheit.
Is he eating? Little Yorkie puppies need frequent meals or they can easily become dehydrated.
I'm worried about him, too.
