I think if you had a small room to put it in it might work out well. I know someone who has one over the dining room table, they even took down the chandelier to put it up. Her husband is a joker and wanted it to be a laugh in the living room and his wife ended up making it a Martha Stewart piece of art. It was so pretty at night but it did not rotate.
