I thought they made a big GOOF and put the picture in upside down in the magazine. And yes, this tree is of course artificial.
Everyone I have showed this too was just soo confused by this thing, LOL. I guess the ONLY purpose it would serve is to make more room for Christmas presents underneath the tree - BUT STILL
