Yes a pound can make a big difference depending on the frame. So with some yorkies a pound difference won't look like much at all while in others it will look like a huge difference. It just all depends on the frame and build of the yorkie.
But 5 pounds is still tiny!! I have two males yorkies. The one is 3.5 pounds and the other is 5.5 pounds. So a two pound difference and it does look like a huge difference. But Scamp at 5.5 pounds is still very tiny. I prefer them to be in the 5 pound range, because when they are tiny you have to be extra careful with them and you worry about it all the time as they can get hurt so easily. |
