I've used Diatomaceous Earth that is food grade only, or they call it Fossil Shell Flour...It's so safe you could eat it, you can google it and find info...I know Perma- Guard sells and manufacturers it and so does Fresh Water Organics...

Since it kills my physical means rather than chemical means it takes about 48 hours to kill a bug rather than seconds with a chemical spray....

You can separate the pets hair and lightly put the powder on the skin, do not rub it in the skin, you can put it on your carpet and in the pets bed, it's very safe....Hope this helps...
