I wish I could help....I don't have experience with this disease, but as a nurse I can tell that abdominal pain/tenderness is taken quite seriously in humans. It doesn't always mean something serious is happening, but it should always be checked out. Does she feel bloated? Can you palpate the areas (push in lightly) to check for any bumps or severe tenderness?
