That's a good plan. I wait until evening when Maxwell is almost in sleep mode. He likes the taste of the dog toothpaste. Sometimes we only get part of the mouth done before he's HAD it; try the other part another day. I wasn't diligent about it at ALL with my first yorkie ... well, it's not a happy story.
