How the heck do you guys get your furbabies to let you brush thier teeth?? I use to do it for Abby when I first got her, but she just acts like I'm killing her and throws a huge fit, making it nearly impossible. Should I just have someone hold her down until she gets use to it?? I hate doing that to her, but I want her to have a healthy mouth. Is it ok to just have the vet do her annual teeth cleaning, but be just as hygenic?

I tried these dental bones, but they just made her poop white and paste-y (yuck)
