You're right. But, what needs to be told is that the committee, though working with the AKC did have to tread lightly on the wording AKC does have guidelines that were imposed on the committee.
As we all know the Standard does leave alot of room for interpretation, even before the DQ was written. Judges have judges alot on their own personal preference.
