I called around to tons of different ads in different newspapers, and had a really rough time finding the type of Yorkie I wanted. I don't want a puppy at this stage, as it is just too much work for my lifestyle, so I was looking for one at least 6 months old. I realize it is still technically a puppy, but it's out of that really young stage, and that's what I was trying to avoid.

Anyhow, I found an ad for a 6 month old Yorkie for 275 bucks. I was curious, so I gave a quick call. Turns out the owner received him as a gift a few weeks ago from her sister b/c her last dog had just died...and she didn't feel she had the time to be with him. Her job makes her travel a lot, so she wanted him to have a better home. She was selling him cheap because she wasn't doing this for the money, she just wanted to help recoup some of the money spent.

We already have 1 Yorkie, so they could be a good pair. Heck, this one is 6 pounds so they'll even be around the same size if he doesn't grow a ton more.

Apparently he's on the road to housebreaking and is quite beautiful....I haven't seen a picture, but I guess I will see when I drive there tomorrow.
