I wasn't trying to be rude with my post to her...just informative. That is considered standard protocall IF you are worried about a prego female after an unplanned breed. I hope it isn't turned around to be anything but that. I apparently misinterpreted her post wrong--I took it that she was worried about if it would be
safe for her girl to carry and was under the impression that the female was smaller than she is. If that was in fact the case, then it would be a decision worth considering, don't you think? That was what I
thought I implied by
"if you are worried, you can still have the spay..." I would think that she should be safe given her size--but the upcoming vet's exam will give a more clear answer there.
Just an unrelated side note: IMO, 'aborting' a pregancy in a dog shouldn't be viewed the same as it is with people, so I hope that didn't come across as an 'offensive' suggestion.
