My vet and I are putting it off for Lexy since she is so small. I'm thinking around 8 months or so I'll try it. My vet wants me to leave her there for a few hours when she gives it to her so if anything does go worng she can treat it immediately. I also confirmed with her that the dose is the same for a tiny Yorkie as it is for a Great Dane! My vet is going to lessen the dose some for Lexy though, even though she isn't supposed to. I hope that will be all right and the shot will still be effective. does anyone know?
