I don't mean to sound harsh, but I think bringing in a 3rd dog into your situation might not be the best idea. Poor Benji, thats his home and he does not like other dogs there. I think you'll have a hard time with him if you do get a 3rd dog. Im afriad that if Benji does not take to the Dobie puppy that you'll have to rehome him and that will hurt you for sure, and that poor pup.
Just think about it..... do you think your current circumstances allow for a 3rd dog?
