The short version: It started out with Hilda taking care of her fiance after he was shot. He was being very nice to her and they were deciding when to get married. Daniel is in the hospital and Alexis is (was) in a coma. Betty is helping with all the Mode stuff. Justin leaves day camp (it's still summer and he is not in school) and is allowed to help out at Mode for a few weeks. Betty's father is still in Mexico.
Claire and the lady from jail are hiding out in their Hamptons home. Towards the end Alexis wakes up and seems to have forgotten that she is now a woman. Suddenly in the last few minutes Hilda's fiance says he has to go and Hilda is begging him not to. Then Betty comes in and asks if Hilda wants to help with dinner and it shows Hilda all alone in bed. Her fiance is actually died and she was just dreaming/imagining being with him.
