Hi, I have a similar situation with two of my girls, Chattie and Chizzie.

Chattie is very protective/possessive of me. All it takes to set her off is for someone to talk to me while I am at my computer or in the kitchen cooking.

What has helped our situation is that I have asked that people alert me before walking up to my computer desk so that I can be ready to act. I have a rolled up newspaper (very skinny section) and I show it to Chattie and say NO! in a very firm voice. If that doesn't work, the and they actually engage in battle, I smack both of them with my limp newspaper roll and the noise usually distracts them enough to get them to listen to my NO!!!

Good luck..... it will be interesting to hear from others who also have redirected aggression issues and how they handle them.
