Both of them, now go to a diffrent groomer, so worth the 30 minute drive. |
I used to take Mr. Biggs to the petsmart groomer, but they never did it the way that I wanted him to be done, and I always gave them detailed instructions! His hair was never the length I wanted it to be and he always came out of there looking so afraid! The stram that broke the camels back though was when I took him to get his nails clipped (because I'm afraid of doing it myself), and instead of the groomer doing it, I found out it was the very inexperienced looking girl that booked the appointments! And to top it all off, she clipped one of them too short and made him bleed! I could have done a job like that myself! I mean seriously, if they can't clip a dogs nails correctly, how can we expect them to do a good job cutting their hair?!
To make a long story short, I now cut my dogs hair and only get him groomed once every couple months at a professional groomer shop owned by an award winning show groomer. The last time I went I made an appointment for a few days later with one of the girls and brought in a pic of what i wanted him to look like and she did a great job! The next time I go, I'm gonna book in advance so that the owner can cut his hair. Oh, and the best part is they're all super nice! The owner even gave me some tips for when I groom him at home
