Teeth cleanings are usually once a year, since they have to anesthetized I wouldn't want any more than that. At my vet they take a blood sample before hand to make sure he is healthy for the procedure, but if I don't go within (I think)60 days from the date of the blood test they make me pay for another blood test
I brush Chip's teeth about once a week, but he allways has a bully stick available to gnaw on. I would wait until your puppy is fully grown before putting him under for an elective procedure.
