She was just sharing a story. It seems like she doesn't know the actual diagnosis, she's just telling us what happened. It may or may not have been due to the raw. Maybe the raw was fed with kibble, who knows what happened?
I don't disagree with raw

I think everyone has to make their own choices, and I know that you guys who feed raw have put a lot of research in to this just like others do for homecooking or even for kibble

The only thing that I was going to say to those interested in feeding raw- make sure that your dog is healthy and does not have any underlying health issues. A dog who has a compromised liver due to MVD/HMD or liver shunt or something like that could have serious problems with a raw diet as their immune systems are usually compromised as well and their livers and bodies wouldn't be able to handle all that meat.
I don't see any reason why a healthy dog shouldn't get it though if that's what the dog owner feels comfortable with
