Hi Mary, there are way too many dogs out there with liver problems like liver shunt and MVD/HMD. Thank you so much for the work that you do. You guys are angels to these little babies that come in all sick.
I have a yorkie with MVD which was causing him some pretty serious hepatic encephalopathy symptoms, and I know what it's like. Fortunately, I have done a lot of research and found very valuable information on a liver shunt group on yahoo groups and other sources. Now, my dog is healthier than ever. It's been a very long time since he's had a seizure, ammonium urate stones, head pressing or anything like that.
