I was planning on taking my little boy to Italy with me for Christmas with Lufthansa & United since they will allow him to travel in-cabin with me. However, your Yorkie will not be able to fly in-cabin if you are going through England since they have very strict rules.
Also your pup will need an ISO microchip and will have to be up to date on his/her shots including rabies to go to Europe and avoid quarantine. Some countries also require them to be on flea/tick preventative, and some countries like England want bloodwork done to show that the rabies vaccine is effective in your dog. So make sure to do your homework on the requirements to enter with a dog through each country you will be stopping at.
