Okay, we got our new puppy, Chewy on Saturday. We brought him home and introduced him to our almost 1 year old Yoda.

Yoda has always liked other dogs but he doesn't seem to care for Chewy at all! He will go out of his way to avoid Chewy.

For those of you who brought in a new puppy, how long was the adjustment period? Did they eventually get along?

I know Yoda has been jealous and we are making sure to love on him a lot. He looks so out of sorts now that Chewy is here. I feel bad for him but then I look at Chewy and he melts my heart.
