There aren't too many people like you in this world, that's for sure. I can only imagine how much it hurt your heart to give Maddie back to her family but you did it because it was the right thing to do. God bless you for that.
I really hope you reconsider and take another little Yorkie into your life. I've been there, believe me ... I've been in that place where I swore I could never love another dog. I've had Kalina now for 4 months and every day I wonder how I lived without her - even though I swore I would never get another dog after my beloved Chihuahuas died. (And she's from Indiana!!!)
Whatever you decide, I wanted you to know that you touched my life by giving Maddie back to her family. You are a good person.
