Goodness, really.... my heart!
I would suggest she buys a puppy bottle, puppy formula, to feed the baby, let her buy a GOOD brand of puppy kibble, and mix it with the puppy formula, let it get soft, and hand feed him. Introduce water slowly by wetting your finger, and let him suckle it up.
Have nutrical at hand, and make sure he gets all hes meals, and puts on weight!
Phone, or go to the vet, and get some advice from him too!
