Exactly. Our children are grown and out of the house. Even our granddaughter is 15. Bailey and Meggie are like a new crop of children in the house. I decided a while back that there is generally a basic difference between the way people relate to big dogs and little dogs. Big dogs tend to become our pals. Little ones, especially ones as sweet as all of the Yorkies I've ever met, tend to be our perpetual babies - and I love it.
