A little male input on the subject ...
Of course I'm a sucker for our furbabies (we have an 11 month old and a 19 month old). Frankly, I'm a tiny bit suspicious of ANYONE who doesn't sort of cave in to them. When we got Bailey, she was a Mother's Day gift for my wife. I was okay with the idea of getting a Yorkie, but not particularly excited. By the time we left the breeder's house that day, I was trying to figure out how to affort the other female puppy that they had available. Couldn't do it then, but got our second puppy from that pair's next litter. My wife, my two daughters and my granddaughter all think I've gone totally nuts since Yorkies have come into our house - and they're probably right.
And regarding children - I think babies are the most awesome things God puts on this earth. It is utterly AMAZING to watch young children when everything they do is a new learning experience! |
