Its really easy for the US to impose its laws on another country. IF you are poor and need to feed your children and this offers cheap meat what are you to do? especially if you grew up practicing this and see no wrong in it. Being that the Philippines is a third world country I am not shocked.

I have no clue what the solution to this problem is but most of the time what we think is horrible to eat is someone else's cuisine.

You can fight against it all you want but have to remember no matter what your nationality is that this is a food source in more than one country. The solution is not as simple as it may seem and even if the president wants this to change he also has to find a solution to this missing food source through economic research...
