Default Ears

Teething will cause problems for some babies- and then after teething is done the ears can pop up. It is an individual thing. Being stressed out can also make a little one drop the ears. I start trimming at three weeks of age and remove the hair from inside and outside of the ear 1/3 of the way down and in a v shape. At five weeks if the ears are not up I start using tape.

I trim hair once a week- seems that hair on the ears grows very quickly. I have never had a puppy whose ears did not stand up in the long run.
