In the middle of the night (it is almost 2 am here in Alaska) I woke up like I normally do to check on the puppies and this one is laying there. I picked Yoda up and he did not even squeak like normal. I just don't understand why Yoda is struggling to gain weight.  Please if you have any suggestions or answers let me know. I would hate to lose this little guy.

It sounds like this little one needs to be supplimented in between mom feeding him. I find the smaller ones get pushed off the teat by the bigger ones and can't always get enough to eat. Check him for cleft palate also. here's a link with symptoms to look for in him:
