After attitude which I have to have tons of it to hold a pup for show. I like the spitfire attitude witht the no fear factor
I am a head hunter so I start at the head, afterall when someone sees your dog usually its the head they see first and why not start the presentation with a gorgeous head peice, small ears and muzzle not to small and not too short. I also do not like a really big Yorkie for show with big ears are not my thing. I don't like the really terrier look, I like it softened a bit.
Then I go on from there. Coat texture, confirmation nice leg in balance with the length of back. Good reach of neck.
And tail sets are important you see so many with tailsets that look like they are sliding off their rears giving a round rump appearance which takes away from their profile.
Once on lead I look for a great mover. One that can move out and look fluid in their movement, not jerky and sloopy movements. I have seen some that look so loose in the rear when moving and its not a pretty sight.
Thats what I look for and like
