Actually, it was a very easy way to learn sewing. It was all right there in front of me and I knew it worked because it had been a dress before I took out all the seams. I'm a very visual learner.
Yes, I've made a few dresses, suits, wedding gowns, and attendants gowns in my day!
You name it I've probably sewn it.
There are some left-handed patterns but not very many. Once you learn it doesn't matter. But I didn't have any left-handed patterns when I was learning so the mirror was the next best thing - or my mother sitting across from me doing it right-handed.
Mandee, does the Dr. know what is causing your headaches? Codeine is not a good long-term solution for a headache. I hope he/she's looking into that for you.
