I hope you stay in touch with the man who found and took care and love with her.
I also hope you show up at the boys door with Maddie in your arms and let him feel the shear terror of now knowing you know and the needless pain he put you through.
My guess, he let some girl take her home that was at the party.
Thankfully a girl who didn't take care and Maddie was able to get to her guardian angel of a man.
