Mojo has been taking Heargard plus chewables for over a year and he loves it. He thinks it is a treat and gets all excited when he sees he is getting one! Mojo has never tested positive for worms or hearworms so i am very pleased with this medication.
As per the dosage, maybe you can offer half the tablet, but only if your vet okays it...i know for a fact that all these medications have to be approved by EPA and also the age and amount, that is why in some countries these recomendations vary.
