I had a shepherd/wolfhound mix that had grand mall (sp?) seizures all her life, 8 wks when she started and she died at 15yrs. She was on phenobarbitol which really helped. What your dog has doesn't sound like seizures, probably sleep apnea. I also have a 9yr old Jack Russell that acquired epilepsy about 2 years ago. She is also on phenobarb which helps so much. Hers are different, more just a violent shaking and loss of coordination for a bit, not like Satia who actually contorted and fell over while having a seizure. Your vet can give you more information, just doesn't sound like a seizure to me.
