Default ty all for ww.

I chose a Yorkie because it is one of the dogs I was raised around. My other choices were a Maltese (littered this past sunday-not sure if there were any females) Pug, or a tiny toy poodle AKA the small ones everyone calls Teacups.

I always wanted a Yorkie and everyone has been trying to steer me toward a Maltese. I wanted a YORKIE Dang it and I was going to have one. Well after going to the local pet shop and pricing them at $1750.00 and up I all but gave up hope. However being the net savey person I am I started on a mission and was determined to get what I wanted at a price I thought was reasonable if I had to drive to alaska to get it. Mind you I live in West Virginia and I don't travel well, and I don't drive!

A friend from the parrot forum I use to moderate/assist on (retired for medical reasons for now but will go back to work soon I hope) sent me to some on line puppy finding sites. I found Yorkies all over the world but when I got to WV I found mainly Yorkies that were $3500.00. I mulled over the adds and found several at about $1000.00 and two at $850.00 more for females. Well I called one and they got back to me, and I e mailed them to set up a time to see the pups and they never got back to me. They wanted $1000.00 for a tiny female (3 lbs at 5 months old). Finally I e mailed the other lady and she lead me to the owner by phone call. I went and saw the one smaller male (4 lbs) and the female said to be 5 lbs) Well she grew cause she is 8.5 lbs. I got her for $500.00 first three sets of shots and my vet wanted one more of the 6/7 in one boosters so we did that yesterday. We are getting he spayed Friday and I am so scared of all the things that can go wrong. I would just die if anything happened to her. I already love her to death.

I am waiting on my uncle to send me pictures of Grandma's yorkie Corky. I want to compare features and see if I picked a dog that resembles my corky. Corky has been over the rainbow bridge for a long time now, as has my grandparents and most my family.

Anyway thank you all for a warm welcome.
