As to Cheri, maybe you can put her in a room that she likes with a gate (they have the gates that attach to the doorway, and it swings open so that you can go through). You do not have a gap in your resume. You were self-employed. That takes discipline and a lot of qualities that employers are looking for. Do not seek a job until you are ready.

I was going to say the same thing....you don't have a gap in your resume! You were doing your cards and labels.

You were also learning how to use various photo/graphic programs and devices. Many employers would consider this continuing your education. You are also very computer literate, which is a major plus in today's job market.
You might consider a job working for a photographer or a photo studio. You might really enjoy that too.

Maybe a pet photographer? Please don't underestimate your abilities. You are a very talented lady.
