Hi Villette!
My Otis is a "runner". What's helped me is to put a broom by the door. He hates the broom and will usually back off if I pick it up. I never have to raise my voice or touch him with it, he just backs off. Also, If I'm expecting company, I put 2 sections of an ex pen and block off the front door.
I sure hope you continue to heal with each day. Just put one foot in front of the other girl. I'm sure having your son around will help. So many changes for you coming up. Be strong, and push forward. I've been thinking about you. Take care of yourself and your girls!
