Kiwi's scintigraphy test came back negative for extrahepatic shunt (yeah

), so we know she doesn't have a shunt. The liver biopsy is to check for MVD/HMD only. My normal vet says she has done lots of liver biopsies and since she knows Kiwi doesn't have a shunt, she is comfortable doing the biopsy, spay, umbilical repair herself. I would probably prefer her to do it since I know her and feel comfortable with her and could ask her any questions I had either before or after. The board certified surgeon only comes to the office twice a month.
