Yes, maltese prices have gone up significantly more than yorkies. Like I said, you will be hard pressed to find a female maltese for under 1500, and that's on the super low end. Most start at $2000. But males may go for $1000-$1700.
I love both breeds so much, and they compliment each other so nicely
