I do hope that he just had an upset tummy and the pepto took care of it, just make sure that you still take him in, for your piece of mind too. You don't want something to get set back in the the middle of the night. About the puppy pads, yes, I believe you about the shredding mine always did it. Buy the ones you can wash in the long run they probably are cheaper. BTW they are all beautiful little puppies
