I think the console seat will fit most cars if you buy the smaller one. I don't know about the larger one as we had the small one. I did not like how it sat on top of the console. The bottom of it is not flat. It has a foam part that comes down further in the back and forces it to sit further back. I think I get the reasoning but it just didn't work too well in my opinion.

Could you tell me how you made the one you made? I want to have one for Max, but my husband and I both have Jaguar xk-8's (don't even ask
), and the console itself isn't all that bigand runs between the two bucket seats. I was wanting to make something myself that would fit there but be sturdy enough (I totally understand the collapsing sides issue, b/c I've got a carrier like that) so that he'd be comfortable and feel secure. I just don't know what to use! I'd appreciate any directions you could give me! Thank you! Seana
