Her doctor says there have only been 11 other cases like this. It's caused by the hormone your body produces when you're pregnant. He told her today that it could happen again (she just got pregnant) and would have to be drained again.
The lung specialist said he's heard of it before, but had never seen it. He wants to do a case study on her. They're really hopping now because it's so rare.
ALso she's coming home today. Everything is dramatically better now that she can breathe. All bloodwork, etc looks good and they will be leaving for home within the hour.
