As some of you know i had a Lab to become sick, I still think it was the tennis balls, test on the balls came back inclusive, what ever that means, she does have lead traces in her blood and a lung infection.
Here is my problem this lab is a serviceman dog, he is Iraq. will be until march of next year, he emails me whenever he can to check on his dog,
his dog had a complete physical xrays and all before she was left with me, she was healthly. I had decided not to tell him anything about his dog being sick, I feel like he has enough on his plate without worry about her, there nothing that he can do, but worry, my daughter thinks he should be told.
everthing being done for his dog that can be done, even going to the base vet that 35 miles away because this is her vet and he knows her history.
Please tell me what you think I ought to do.
Thanks, | That's a hard call. If it was me, I'd wait and fill him in later. Maybe send a picture of her with an update when she's feeling better. There really is nothing he could do back there but worry, and that's the last thing he needs in Iraq. I think it's great that you are able to take care of her for him. Hope she gets better soon.
Hugs to you! |
