I only have real experience with mine... I find that my boy Tootie is much more outgoing and playful than Hope... Hope is scared of everyone and barks like a BANSHEE when anyone comes into my home.. she will tear into my leg for me to pick her up if anyone comes around..
Tootie in the meantime will kill you to get out of his way so he can go play with the new person.....
but again, Hope is only 5 lbs and Tootie is 16 so size could matter there too..
