 Heartguard Plus question
My Moxie is a little over 2lbs. and my Vet gave me Heartguard Plus chewables for him. My question is why would I give my 2 lb. dog the same dose that a 25 lb dog would take? Would I give a human baby the same dose as I would an adult...no way! Then why should I give my 2lb Moxie a 25lb. dose??? What is everyone else doing? Do you give the whole chewable? I'm confused. I hate to do something that is going to shorten his life because of liver or other organ problems down the road caused by over medicating. Just look at all the scary stuff on vaccines that's just now being talked about.
