No my brother in law owned a mortgage company. So since my parents house was under the umbrella of his company, the bank and DA's think the house or my parents were somehow also involved. So their credit and mine (my name was also on the house incase something happened to them) is destroyed, so no chance for a loan. We've tried to approach legal aid but they say the case is too complicated for them. We've been dealing with this for 6 months now, I've lost over 15 lbs, just from the stress and I can't handle my family being torn to bits like this. We've never had any problems with the law, EVER. Not even so much as a traffic ticket. I am grateful for whatever health we have left but it's getting to me and I can't take the stress anymore. |
