I have a 2004 Explorer and the SUV size console seat works great. Smaller cars would have to use the small size. I know they make one for up to 4lbs and one up to 12 lbs.. (that is the suv size). I can fit two (yorkies) in my SUV size.. Mine love sitting on the console and I feel so much safer with the seat than without it.
Wish we had it when we took our long trip to Wyoming, but even then the babies were very good to travel with. i* USED A SEATBELT THRU THE HANDLE ON THE CRATE AND THEY WERE FINE. oF COURSE i LEFT THE DOOR OPEN MOST OF THE TIME (oops) sorry about the caps.
