Default Husband says

1. Turn everything off. After one minute turn on the modem if you have one.
2. Then turn on the router the main computer is plugged into.
3. Wait half a minute and then turn on the computer, leave the laptop off
for now. Let the main computer bootup, it should find it's own settings
and configure by itself.
4. Once you can open internet browser and get to a site, then turn on the
laptop and let it do its configure and settings. Now both should work.
This process may have to be redone in this sequence anytime the power
goes out, even for a second or two.
5. If this doesn't work, call the router company.
