You already pin pointed it. Angel had the SAME issue. The groomer did her anal glands (without my permission) and afterwards, she bit and chewed her bottom for days. I had to keep stopping her.
Her "hole" actually stuck outwards after they did this to her and stayed like this for months.
Eventually she will stop itching but there isnt much you can do to help her.
