Oh Dina - I should have mentioned exactly what you did. Every baby's hair really is different and Tatum herself has SUPER thick hair. I think it is actually probably ME that is screwing up with the french barrettes and not french barrettes themselves, lol. So PLEASE - no one be afraid to try them
I would still prefer these over the bows with the rubber bands on the back ANY day. Several of Tatum's bows actually DO have the french barrettes on the back - it's probably just the way I am doing her hair that is messing it up. I will have to try what you mentioned and clip them to a piece of hair in the front first - that sounds like it would totally work

Honestly, PLEASE no one be afraid to try these with the french barrettes on the back if you haven't already. It's just normal that people do have preference, and I guess I stated mine before realising what I was even doing
