My 20 year old son (who LOVES his guitar) says to flip the circuit breaker for that room. Then, go in and ask him politely to please beg, borrow or buy earphones that plug into his amp. Set some ground rules right now. If the volume is high enough, it can cause ear damage for him AND for you. Just our opinion. Good luck.
